Privacy policy
This program will not transfer any information to other networked systems unless specifically described here.
What the program sends
- To the Steam client on your own computer (127.0.0.1 debugging port): it reads the addresses of open Steam pages and inserts the badge. This never leaves your computer.
- To the price service: for each Steam store game page you open, the game's Steam app ID and your configured country code (for example
CN). Depending on your settings, this goes either directly to the IsThereAnyDeal API together with your own API key, or to a Cloudflare Worker that you deploy yourself.
No account data, browsing history, personal information, analytics or telemetry is collected or sent. Your settings (API key or Worker address and token) are stored only in .steamplg.json in your home folder.
Third parties
Requests to IsThereAnyDeal are subject to the privacy policy of IsThereAnyDeal. If you use a Cloudflare Worker, requests are handled by Cloudflare under your own Cloudflare account. This website itself is served by Cloudflare and sets no cookies.
